"A good example of how black-and-white works well underwater. The
turtle is off the reef and so is contrasted against the 'blue' tones of the water, showing his markings and details well. Often the detail of marine animals is lost as it blends with the background - a form of natural camouflage. Everybody loves turtles, and this is one of my most
successful images."
