"This picture is the result of endless patience. These jawfish live in burrows and are extremely shy, emerging only when no danger threatens. I laid in the sand in front of his den, breathing very slowly to minimize bubbles. Eventually, I knew, he would get used to my presence. So I waited. And waited. And waited."
